S t a r t e r s :

Blinis with Soured Cream, Lime Zest & Onuga Caviare (fv)

small buckwheat pancakes served with traditional black roe, garnished with lime wedges

Smoked Salmon layered with Saffron Egg Mousse served in a Glass Shell (fv)

smoked salmon layered with a mousse of WBF eggs, saffron and cream and spring onion and fresh coriander salsa

Goats Cheese & Walnut Salad (v)

with a walnut oil,maple syrup & balsamic dressing

Butterbean & Cashew Nut Patties (v)

served with our mild sweet chili & tomberry dipping sauce  & a toasted seed garnish

Broad Bean & ChickPea Falafel (v)

beans from our garden, mashed into chickpeas, tahini and  cumin - served with home-made yoghurt & mint raitha

Prawns in Garlic Butter (fv)

served with home-made bread to mop up the home-grown garlic juices and a little parsley & lemon on the side

M  a i n  C o u r s e s :

Slow Roasted Spiced Belly Pork

massaged with oriental mild spices and cooked long and slow for succulence

Medallions of Pork Fillet

cooked with an apple, cream and calvados sauce

Fillet of Steak

cooked to your liking and served "au nature" or with homemade garlic  or tarragon butter

Chicken Breast with Coconut Cream & Ginger

marinated and cooked in a mild creamy coconut and ginger sauce

Chicken Breast stuffed with herbs & cream cheese wrapped in Local Smoked Bacon

using some of the best local bacon and our home-grown herbs, this is roasted in the oven

Fillet of Salmon en Papillotte (fv)

marinated and cooked in a  zingy fresh lemon, lime and ginger and cooked in an envelope to keep it moist

Salmon Teriyaki (fv)

salmon marinated for several hours in a teriyaki, sweet chilli and rice-wine sauce and succulently dry pan-fried

Queen Mushroom  (v)

stuffed with sunblush tomatoes and feta cheese, covered in a topping of pinenuts, wholemeal breadcrumbs , herbs & onion

Lentil Loaf with Spicy Butternut Squash Sauce (v)

a slice of mixed lentils and fresh herbs  served with a golden piquant spicy butternut squash sauce

Red Onion & Thyme Tarte Tatin (v)

red onions lightly caramelized with thyme, balsamic vinegar & brown sugar served upside down with a puff-pastry crust

All served with a selection of Fresh Seasonal Vegetables  & Potatoes  - and from the garden whenever possible!

Fresh Glazed Pineapple with Home-made Pineapple Sorbet

For a clean finish. Pineapple glazed and then lightly brûléed served with a sorbet made from the pulp of pineapple

Crème Brûlée

a traditional pudding made with our own eggs and served with a few seasonal fruits on the side

Tiramichoux!

choux buns coated with chocolate and filled with a coffee & mascarpone cream and a hint of butterscotch

Crêpe filled with almond and orange

in an almond liqueur and orange juice reduction

Trio of Chocolate Puddings

dark, milk & white mmmmmm!!

Sticky Toffee Pudding

served  with an unctuous, sweet, sticky toffee sauce!
